1、龟山崮形地貌 Guishan Gu topographic feature
龟山，海拔331m，因其形似卧龟而得名。
Guishan, rising 331 metres above sea level, is named because its shape is like a crouched tortoise.
龟山为一典型的“崮”形山，顶部平展开阔，峰巅周围峭壁如削，峭壁之下坡度由陡变缓。山体顶部岩性为厚层灰岩、鲕粒灰岩，中下部为页岩，均为5亿年前的寒武纪海相沉积岩石。
Guishan is a typical small hill named Gu which is flat on the top but precipitous all round and it is from steep slope to gentle slope along the side of cliff. The lithology of the top of the hill is thick-bedded limestone and oolitic limestone, while the lithology of the lower part is shale. They are all sedimentary rocks formed in the Cambrian, its formation time is 500 million years ago.
龟山自古以奇峰异石、名泉幽洞而名冠鲁南。龟山老鹰石、九龙石等像形石形神皆备、惟妙惟悄；龟山望龙洞、弥勒佛洞、滴水洞，通天洞等溶洞规模不一，各具特色。
Guishan is famous for its picturesque peaks and rocks as well as the springs and secluded caves in the south of Shandong province. Guishan Hawk Rock, Nine Dragons Rock, and other such rocks are lifelike pictographic rocks of unity of the form and spirit. Guishan Wanglong cave, Maitreya Buddha cave, Dishui cave, Dongtian cave, and other such karst caves are different in size. Each of them has specific features of its own.
在距今约5～6亿年的寒武纪时代，龟山地区还沉浸在一片汪洋大海之中，沉积形成了巨厚的灰岩和页岩；后来随着地壳抬升，形成平顶的山地，经过侵蚀、溶蚀、重力崩塌和风化等多重地质作用形成了今天的崮形地貌景观。它隐含了地壳抬升运动的重要信息，具有较高的科研和开发利用价值。
Sediments accumulated and formed thick-bedded limestone and shale during the Cambrian, 500~600 million yeas ago, when the Guishan area was still an ocean. As a result of the crust uplift, the Guishan area formed hill with flat top. After erosion, corrosion, gravitational collapse and weathering, it formed the Gu topography. It has connotations of important information of the crust uplift and a high value of scientific research and development. .
龟山具有厚重的历史文化底蕴，保存有龟山禅寺、龟山古寨、古旗杆眼、古寨门、百子庙等许多珍贵的遗址、古迹和美好的传说；盛唐以来，龟山顶曾建有玄帝阁、紫云观、观音堂等寺庙，香火旺盛，送香参拜者络绎不绝，民俗有“三月三沧浪渊，二月十九爬龟山”之说；龟山森林茂密，涛声阵阵，终年鸟语花香，景色宜人，是旅游、休闲之佳地。
With a historical cultural background, Guishan has many precious sites, relics and moving stories such as Guishan temple, Guishan ancient village, ancient flagpole holes, door of the ancient camp and Baizi temple. Since the Tang Dynasty there were several temples such as Xuandi Tower, Ziyun Taoist temple and Guanyin (a Bodhisattva) temple builded on the top of Guishan. A continuous stream of visitors come to the temples to burn incense and pray. There is a folklore that it is good time to go to the Pool of Surging waves on the 3rd of the third month by lunar calendar and to climb Guishan on 19th of the second month by lunar calendar. Guishan is the ideal place for tourism and entertainment because of the thick forest, the sound of waves, songs of birds and scent of flowers all the year round and the attractive scenery. |
